This Week in Rotary

Club member Allan Lill presented the Staveley Ice Rink Project a boost of $5,000. Clare Harden of the Staveley Hall Society said “We are very grateful for this donation. We have received over 250 donations to get us to where we are today. So $5,000 may seem small in the grand scheme of things, but we wouldn’t be here without Groups like the Plains Rotary Club!”
This is a whopping total of $1,151,989 raised to date. The total needed for the refrigeration project is $1,326,989 so Just $175,000 to go!
The rink is definitely on track to open Mid June. Their top priority is to open without debt.

On Sunday the 7th May Plains Rotary hosted the final Car Boot Sale of the season. Thanks to all those that have supported this event. We look forward to running the next one in the spring.
