Rotary Club Supports Staveley Camp with $1,000 Donation
The Rotary Club of Ashburton Plains was honoured to stage its annual Classic Car Rally at the scenic Staveley Camp this year.
As a gesture of thanks for the use of the venue, Club President Wim Melchers presented a $1,000 donation to Lindsay Jones, Chairman of the Staveley Camp Trust.
Mr Melchers said the club valued the opportunity to hold the event at such a special community facility:
“Staveley Camp is a real asset to our district, and we’re pleased to be able to support its work in providing a place for recreation, education, and community connection.”
